Little Bird Place Gallery in Sofia and the platform for contemporary art and culture 'Art and Culture Today' present an exhibition with works by 6 young Bulgarian artists, participants in 'Little Bird Artist Residency' in the village of Leshten! (The next 6 artists will be presented in October).
In the middle of summer, 12 young Bulgarian artists were selected to create in nature and the local color of the village of Leshten in an authentic old house. 4 groups of 3 people - each one with their own specific artistic approach and worldview, united by the impulse to break away from the urban environment and immerse themselves for two weeks in an atypical environment. The connecting theme was dictated by the focus of Little Bird Place Gallery on nature, ecology and biology.
Participants in the first exhibition are: Alexandra Georgieva, Gergana Ivanova, Jana Mitkova, Iva Markova, Mladen Yordanov, Gergana Balabanova
Curators and consultants in the selection are Radoslav Mehandzhiyski and Teodora Konstantinova from the Art and Culture Today platform.
