Clara Nomdedeu

I trained as an artist at the Ecole du Louvre, and at the same time practised in a private studio in Paris. I've been able to develop my experience through a wide range of opportunities, including fieldwork in archaeology, drawings and gouaches of archaeological objects, museography with the design of archaeological exhibitions, brochures and textile creations for regional museums, illustrations for specialist magazines, theses and articles for the CNRS. I have also worked in collaboration with ornithologists from the city of Paris, for whom I have drawn and painted birds. I then made the transition to children's publishing with Nathan.

Today I devote my time to painting animals, with a particular interest in birds and their natural habitats.

I usually work in acrylic on cotton or linen stretchers, often from photographs. I can produce your compositions on canvas, paper, wood, glass, slate or textiles.

I work with a craftsman to design lampshades to your specifications.
