I paint what does not yet exist, giving way to my imagination and my memories, especially from childhood, which constantly lived in the imagination. Even when I start with a preconceived idea of what I am going to do, I quickly realize that I am carried far beyond my initial project. I then simply let the metamorphosis of the work take place, which is realized almost in spite of myself. I abandon myself completely to what can be assimilated to a true moment of spirituality, that is to say to a result that becomes more a work of the mind than of reason. I have the clear feeling at certain moments of becoming a true spectator of my own work and ultimately that suits me very well.
