NONA is a self-taught French artist born in Nantes in 1962. Her unconventional career path is rooted in educational research, where she situates the creative process within a framework of problematization. She works within a naive, illustrative, and surrealist style, playing with forms, colors, and materials to reinforce the meaning of the messages conveyed in each of her paintings. Her naive and dreamlike creations celebrate fantasy, color, and intuitive expression.
