Maja Boot

Maja Boot paints with visible passion and has a strong preference for maritime themes. It's no coincidence that she can often be found on the Dutch Wadden Islands. In this deeply inspiring environment, she frequently paints , capturing subjects such as the beach, the sea, boats, the dunes, and even fish — all in her unmistakably characteristic style.

In her recent work, Maja has discovered a new sense of inner strength, expressed through richer colour and a vibrant energy. She now paints in her outdoor studio, surrounded by wildflower meadows in her hometown. Her current painting style is the matured result of years of experimenting with colour combinations, contrasts, and the use of unexpected materials.
