Biography
He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1951.
He has lived in Denmark for 20 years. An engineer by profession, it was in Denmark that he began developing as a self-taught painter in 1981.
His technique is characterized by a meticulous interplay of pen, pencil, oil, acrylic, and lacquer. Stylistically, he is situated within a particularly Latin American strain of fantastic realism. His pictorial cosmos is dominated by erotic and social themes, in which human beings and their masks play a fundamental role, allowing him to depict his surroundings through a highly personal symbolism.
He was a member of the COLART Latin American Art Collective, which was most active in the 1980s in Denmark.
He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Denmark and Uruguay.
