Galerie Maryam Ahi is pleased to present its new exhibition with Vahid Mohammadi (born in 1982), a collection that is a temptation to face the black paint color and its inspiration were drawn from the nocturnes of Chopin, Whistler and Ahmad Shamloo’s work. In the middle of the darkness, the light does not turn on anything and maybe nothing has been formed yet. He places us at the genesis of the univers.
We are also pleased to present a new talented artist that takes his space in this new exhibition, Arno Ohanian (born in 1982). Super sensitive touch, lots of emotions in his way of creating, only uses oil medium and pure colors on his work, a combination of nature and human, Arno’s works puts us in a space of desire where we belong to be.
It was obvious that we wanted to reunify these two talented souls for this Winter 2024 exhibition and name it « Beyond Oblivion » a reference to the most romantic and powerful iramian artist of XXth century, Sohrab Sepehri (1928-1980).
