Anaïs LF is an emerging French artist, whose works are selected and sold worldwide.
Anaïs LF's work celebrates human connection, encounters with oneself and with otherness. Through her works, she invites us to explore nostalgia, our memories, our intuitions and our emotions, for a deeper understanding of our own experience.
On the series “the waves of color”: reintroducing colors into our lives.
Merging the captivating fluidity of waves and the complexity of interlacing, this series composes vibrant and immersive works, where movement and color dialogue in a hypnotic harmony.
A natural extension of my previous explorations – Les Vagues, le Chemin (with organic and soothing tones) and Les Vagues Outrenoires (inspired by Pierre Soulages’ profound Outrenoir) – this new series marks a turning point. It claims an explosion of bright, vibrant colors, like a manifesto against the progressive disappearance of color in our daily lives.
In a world where neutral shades dominate, where we favor beige, gray, black to avoid any dissonance, Les Vagues de Couleur reaffirm the expressive and liberating power of color. They invite us to dare, to free ourselves from codes, to reintroduce energy and vitality into our outlook and our environment.
