Biography
Philippe Berthet is a Belgian artist, writer-comic cartoonist, born in 1956.
Philippe Berthet studied the ninth art techniques at the St Luc institute and through the lessons head by Claude Renard with other artists like Cossu.
In 1978, Philippe Berthet displayed his drawings in a collective work, but he was mostly acknowledged for his contribution to Spirou in 1980.
Philippe Berthet won the Spatial Prize for "creation and style" in 1981 and signed four volumes of "Marchand d'Idées" with Cossu in 1981-1982. From 1983 until 1990, the "Privé d'HoIlywood" episodes appeared in Spirou and received the Chlorophylle 85 prize at the Durbuy festival.
