Fredd CROIZER is a painter whose works exude maturity and efficient clarity. The abstract shapes born from a gesture that is both controlled and spontaneous take on a dimension that is both desired and unexpected. The play of lights, created by the reliefs and the cavities, form spaces whose interaction gives unity to the canvas. A temporal dimension builds the rhythm of the canvas; the moment T, prisoner of matter, is part of a process which opens and closes the field of possibilities according to the laws of chance. However, each rendering, effect and play of matter is the reflection of a well-established, almost mathematical mechanism. Fredd Croizer makes his own paintings, the first step in the creation of his works.
