Biography
Danielle Aspis has chosen to document life through playful theatricality, transforming production, creation and reception spaces into places of aesthetic research, delimited by digital methods. Its production space is life, and everything can be a pretext for innovative thinking that materializes either in the form of writings or in the form of original artistic works. Her creative space is her mental space, influenced by her theoretical and artistic culture. Its reception area is the gallery, social networks and its website. Her research on color comes from her encounter with abstract art, she particularly likes the works of Karel Appel and Jackson Pollock.
She goes beyond classical photography through serial experimental and exploratory work on the formal and chromatic variations made possible by Photoshop. This to lead to dematerialized, abstract or fictional images, contrary to usual commercial practices, in order to bring to life an imagination shaped by her career rich in research and experience around Photographic Art and Contemporary Art. The digital modalities make it possible to tend towards a poeticization of the space and to propose an embellishment associated with a dialogue on the challenges of today's Art.
