Liliane Cima

After years of training in classicism, I specialized in contemporary art. My pictorial expression: painting the invisible, shapes and colors, emotions, intentions, and sensations. My perceptions guide me through spontaneous impulses, remaining close to my feelings.

My blank canvas to anchor me in my world becomes visible to me when I animate it with strength and intuition, thus unleashing my creativity. I love chance, playing with shapes.

My charcoal comes to life with the gesture that stimulates my imagination, giving movement and life to my paintings. Without words, just the intensity of color, transparency, material, and light.

For me, the act of painting is a language, moods, joys, sadnesses. A way of transcending reality.
