From Iffendic, a small Breton town near Rennes and now St Pierre Quiberon, the town where she is from, KatRegArt, an artist on the contemporary art scene, questions as much as she surprises the viewer. After studying visual arts, KatRegArt chose a bold path: experimenting with various techniques on multiple supports, from walls to cardboard, including spray cans and classic canvases. This thirst for experimentation led her to perfect her art while maintaining a spontaneity and authenticity that mark each of her works. Since 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, she has chosen to share her work with the world. Social networks then become her virtual workshop, allowing her to reach a wider audience. In June 2021, she joined the MBA workshop in Rennes as a reinforcement for the setting up of temporary exhibitions. She notably works for the exhibition entitled “La Couleur Crue” by creating the Orange Forest by Ulla Von Bradenburg and the Red Film Wall by Michel Blazy. This growing visibility leads her to exhibit for the first time in Rennes before multiplying projects in Paris, Nantes, and even internationally, with a notable participation in the Miami Art Basel Week in 2022. In 2023, it is a turning point, she decides to devote herself entirely to her art. But KatRegArt does not just create for herself: her work aims to be inclusive and unifying. For several years, she has organized painting workshops for schools, associations and leisure centers. These moments of sharing embody her desire to transmit and make art a tool for social connection. In 2024, she takes a new step, she participates in an artistic residency during the Paris Olympics in the Renaissance La Défense Hotel (Paris), in Exhibitions and creates frescoes.
