Perrine Le Bars is an artist. She offers us a figuration that she expresses in an expressionist and classical language to revere its primary meaning even more.
The strength of its figuration, its abstraction are highlighted when the subtle play of "angles" are underlined by the light.
And there, intermingled with faces and mixed with "sharpened" fragments, these anatomies and other postures are characterized by a humanist expression so essential, so necessary.
From the "mother" and realistic form, she extracts multiple perspectives and, through her wills, she constructs an astonishing psyche.
The result of this work: a few refined silhouettes, each reduced to its essentials and yet immediately recognizable.
A reinterpretation that externalizes its multiple inner facets.
