Stephane Cormier
Expert in the art of black and white silver prints, Stéphane Cormier trained at the Imaginoir laboratory in the 1980s where he held each position in the image development process.
Independent past, his listening and his mastery are quickly recognized by the greatest entrusting him with their negatives: Raymond Depardon, Sebastião Salgado, Anne de Vandière, Peter Lindbergh, Jeanloup Sieff, Gilles Bensimon, Stéphane Kossmann, Marc Hispard, André Carrara, André Rau ...
Also a photographer and traveler, the master shooter trades in a white coat, vats and black light to reach the field, loaded with film material, tracking the image in the heart of large spaces, between shadow and light, curves and perspectives… In black & white… Always !
