Biography
Meghansh Thapa has largely been involved with figurative work, since the beginning of his career. His early works in the 1990s were in water, acrylic and oil and generated their own inner mythological stories. Human and animal forms easily co-existed, almost co-habited in lush frames of foliage. Village stories, forest stories, stories of animals twins born of human mothers… all these abounded. Profuse colour with layers of transparency...
