Aisien Harrison

Hail from the Ancient City of Benin Kingdom in Edo State, Nigeria. He has a relationship with wood and trained as a sculptor at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State where he obtained National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) respectively. He has participated in several group exhibition and workshop in Nigeria such as: Art Zero group exhibition 2008 at National Theatre, Art Expo at National Museum Onikan 2011 and Life in my City Art Competition 2015 and he was the overall winner in Life in my City Art competition 2015. He is passionate about the use of wood in his sculpture and his works are highly embellished with good finishing touches and his works are highly influenced by socio-economic realities, political challenges, traditions and rich cultural heritage.

He also believes that art is like a bicycle- the more you pull, the more you gain your balance as an artist.
