Biography
Uy Nguyen is a Vietnamese contemporary artist living in Berlin, Germany since 2015. After graduated at the University of Fine Arts in Ho Chi Minh City, Uy moved to Europe to continue his study in fine arts.
In 2021, upon graduating from the Weißensee Academy of Art, Uy boarded on his journey to find his own artistic identity.
Uy discovered his unique style, focusing on his inner world through dreams and images in his subconscious. Since childhood, Uy Nguyen has been plagued by intriguing dreams, which have held him in their spell. He recalls most of these dreams with remarkable clarity, finding connections to his current life. This prompted him to explore the idea of bringing these dreams to life as a means of expressing his views on the era. Through experimentation, he has charted a unique artistic course, embarking on his first creations in the series “Into My Dreams."
