Chalk Drawing for Sale

Chalk has long been used for preparatory drawings. At the Beaux Arts, students would spend time sketching and refining their figurative drawings, or nudes. Many of these preliminary sketches became famous. For instance, everybody knows Leonardo Da Vinci's beautiful orange chalk sketches. With large flat tints and vivid colours, contemporary artists have reappropriated this medium. Now, chalk drawing doesn't have to be a draft but a work in its own right - the finale! And it still retains the sensitivity of chalk works. An elegant, refined atmosphere or close framing: there are so many essential elements that create an intimate bond with the spectator. This medium's fluidity and irregular lines fascinate and hypnotize any viewer.
