Marcelo Martin Burgos

Marcelo Martin Burgos was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1971.

In his own words, “A kid could have done that" is perhaps the single, biggest compliment I pursue with my work. I've spent most of my life trying to unlearn art school, to forget art history and to dismantle the notion of the self, looking to regain the true sense of freedom and joy I had making art as a young boy."

He currently lives and works in between Madrid and Buenos Aires where he complements his career as a sculptor with his work as a filmmaker.
