Looki

Looki is a unique artist whose career illustrates a harmonious fusion between a career in heavy industry and a visceral passion for art. Born in Poitiers and raised in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, he evolved in an environment mixing working-class and artistic influences. However, it was only in adulthood that he discovered that creation was anchored in his DNA.

A craftsman turned artist

From his early days in the industry, Looki became familiar with demanding techniques such as welding, gluing, and assembling various materials such as wood, steel, and metals. These skills became the basis of an artistic exploration that he began at the age of 18, when he received his first welding station. Over the years, he perfected his technique and experimented with various artistic trends, combining craftsmanship and creative vision.

A raw and instinctive art

Adopting an instinctive and spontaneous approach, Looki creates raw, intense and sincere works. His creations combine raw materials and natural elements to address universal themes such as love, freedom, death, mysticism and nature.
