Idem

IDEM, born in 1977, is a self-taught graffiti artist from Rouen who has been active since the early 1990s. He built his reputation alongside his peers from the A31 collective, the oldest and most productive collective in the region, known for its connection to the pioneers of graffiti in Upper Normandy. His work is primarily focused on the style and movement of letters, as for him, they are essential—one cannot fake it with letters, which are the foundation of graffiti in the pure old-school tradition. His painting is a mix of stylized letters and explosive colors, all while maintaining a dynamic and a certain speed of movement, staying true to the essence of graffiti as it is executed in the streets.
