Sandra Encaoua

Sandra Encaoua is a French artist, born in Paris in 1974. She lives and works in Miami.

Sandra Encaoua is mainly interested by natural imperfect patterns. Her painting is subtle with
double exposure and thickened. Processing the material is key for Sandra, who likes to work and mix until it is perfectly in keeping with the pattern.

Her portraits are a mix of blazing red with sparkling white, as well as bright turquoise which respects the warmth of ocher and evanescence of roses. Sandra's touch exudes not only strength and vitality but also gentleness.

She has already exhibited her works in U.S.A, France, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland.
In 2013, Sandra won the "Jeune Talent" competition at the Centre de Recherche d'Art et de Conservation du Patrimoine.
