Frédéric Balmefrezol

He now lives in Saint Bauzille de Putois in Hérault.

He spent three years at the School of Fine Arts in Sète and Montpellier then worked as a model designer for advertising agencies.

For several years he developed a passion for illustration and watercolor, then returned to his first love, acrylic.

Frédéric has found a particular style, he places on the canvas these mirrors offered to him by nature from which he is inspired and in which he tells stories: small dots, he breaks down the subjects to give birth to them elsewhere in the landscape.

These landscapes are the mirror of his inner perception, his emotion, his imagination.

He has this vital need to blend in with nature, to take refuge there in order to taste the generosity that it offers him.

He plays with shadows and light, shapes and colors.

Like a photographer, he zooms in with his brush on a detail, an image, to push us into his universe.
