Jacques Loiseau
Painting - 27 x 35 x 5 cm Painting - 10.6 x 13.8 x 2 inch
€600
Jacques Loiseau was born in 1920. From his youth, his gifts are manifested in classical disciplines as well as in drawing and painting. The first ones prevail... momentarily. He makes a career in the industry but begins to paint in 1954.
Very sensitive to the atmosphere of Provence, he will finally settle in 1986 in Aix-en-Provence, living in the same place where Paul Cézanne painted his paintings entitled La Montagne Sainte-Victoire vue des Lauves and will not stop painting with passion. He regularly exhibits in galleries and museums.
Erudit, he wrote books on various subjects: medicine, political science, poetry, economics, as well as tales.
Numerous paintings are exhibited in private collections in France and abroad: United States, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Italy and Japan, or are in auction houses.
All the work is joyful and pleasing to the eye. As a master in the technique of chiaroscuro, Loiseau has communicated in his paintings strength and refinement, energy and sensitivity, likely reflections of great rigor and inner richness. Naïve, his painting lets guess a false candor in the attachment of man to pictorial art.
