Biography

2NY is a French artist who works at the crossroads of pop art, colorful sculpture and contemporary techniques.

His artistic universe is characterized by a vibrant visual energy, where color, volume and materiality interact in expressive forms, often tinged with popular and playful references.

Very early on, 2NY showed an interest in sculpture, objects and the transformation of materials: he experimented with earth, resin, bronze, as well as mixed processes, to give substance to hybrid works combining relief and paintings.

His work juggles between sculptural planes and pictorial surfaces, composing often compact pieces - like the famous Heart Love - which combine mixed techniques, relief effects and chromatic intensity.

2NY's language belongs to this movement of colorful pop sculptors, claiming a lineage with pop art while updating it with a contemporary approach, at once playful, critical and sensory.

His work, both accessible and complex, invites the viewer to recognize in the transformed object a visual poetry, where each diverted form tells a story, arouses an emotion, questions the gaze.
