Götz Göppert

Born in 1969 in Munich, Götz lives between Paris and Hamburg.

This German photographer, compulsive traveler, graduate of the School of Graphics and Design in Hamburg, spends his time between Germany, France, Italy, the USA, and wherever else his clients send him. But he also devotes a lot of time to personal photographic projects, in particular panoramic photography in 6x24 film. He likes to let himself be caught up in the unheard of and the unusual, bringing back "documentation on what surrounds him". His eye has the principle of not turning away from anything and giving everything the poetry of time in suspense.

After his period of luxury, beauty and voluptuousness which will have lasted about 12 years, Götz likes to spend more time on various reports, ranging from the know-how of coopers to motor sports and sailing. His book "A Year around Sancerre" has been the subject of many exhibitions. But on weekends…you're sure to find him on a racing circuit, on ice or dirt, or on a beach photographing surfers.
