Biography
Déesse (Dominique Seiwert) is a self-taught artist born in Germany in 1954 (in Friedrichshafen, by the Lake Constance). After different professional experiences, and getting inspired by her travels, Déesse has decided to make art after the year 2000.
Her sculptures are a synthesis of today's artistic trends. She is inspired by currents such as the graffiti and the bad painting. She paints her sculptures in a pop cubist style, with bright colors borrowed reminding of Brazil. She is influenced by artists such as Piet Mondrian, Paul Klee, Gerhard Richter, Kasimir Malevich, Victor Vasarely whose family she is close to.
Déesse has created her own universe, marked by her sensitivity. Her travels and her fascinating style allow her to manifest her artistic taste. Her work is here to be discovered.
