Biography
Born in 1970, Josep Sola is truly an extraordinary Artist. Trained in the most famous School of Fine Art specializing in landscapes, in Olot, he has presented his works in the largest Spanish galleries for 20 years.
His hyper-realistic work is timeless and reminds us that painting is above all drawing and light.
His exploration of Provence and the creeks of Marseille is recent, 2011. Previously, he had never painted the sea, which is to say his technical mastery.
The similarities between the light of our region and the rock of our massifs with those of Catalonia have allowed Josep Sola to adapt his work smoothly.
Present in the most prestigious Spanish collections, it continues to amaze us with the beauty of its landscapes.
