Each art form constitutes a universal language with its own code and conveying its own meanings. The code and the meanings are not necessarily made explicit and therefore create links that transcend nationalities, races and religions. The artist, who according to the cliché lives in his ivory tower, transforms this universal language into a dialect of his own. We believe that (de) placing an artist in another culture will allow him to add new phrasing and new lyrics to his language. This will make him or her an initiator of a society without borders.
