Presentation
Vincent Sabatier is a French artist born in 1971, living and working in the Lyon area. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts, he began his career with styling and communication to turn in 2009 to the professorship and devote himself to his work.
He develops a hybrid work mixing screen and resin in an original process of overlays, which he will also patent.
His mastery of liquid resin and silkscreen, playing on surprising insertions make each work a colorful and full of unforeseen.
Describing his approach to Neo Pop Art, he emerges works on the borders of sculpture and pictorial, full of effects of matter and light, playing on the contrasts between transparency and opacity.
The themes chosen and worked are rooted in our contemporary cultural references.
Vincent Sabatier thus declines iconic figures of his generation, allowing him to develop a polysemic work in the sandstone of his inspirations.
