Biografía

Pol Ledent es un pintor belga nacido en 1952 en Houyet, Bélgica. Autodidacta, comenzó a pintar en 1989, explorando inicialmente la acuarela antes de pasarse a la pintura al óleo, que considera más adecuada para su enfoque expresivo. Aunque tomó algunas clases de dibujo en la Academia de Dinant, se desarrolló principalmente de manera autónoma, creando un estilo único que aplica en sus representaciones de paisajes, naturalezas muertas, retratos de desnudos y, más recientemente, en la abstracción.

Las obras de Pol Ledent se destacan por el uso de colores vibrantes y gestos fluidos, caracterizados por pinceladas amplias y dinámicas. El amarillo, el azul y otros tonos vibrantes dominan a menudo sus lienzos, creando contrastes impactantes y una atmósfera vibrante. Sus paisajes contemporáneos, inspirados en la naturaleza belga, son particularmente notables, al igual que sus retratos de desnudos, que reflejan una gran sensualidad y cierta poesía visual.

El artista ha expuesto sus obras en numerosos países de todo el mundo, incluidos Bélgica, Francia, Rusia, Estados Unidos, China, Australia, Portugal, Escocia y Suiza.
