Viridiana Célandon

Sophie Lambert, whose artist name is Viridiana Célandon, graduated from the Van der Kelen Institute of Painting in Brussels, where she learned the classic techniques of decorative painting.

She began her career working with interior designers and then developed her personal techniques in her studio in Vincennes (Paris).

She has exhibited her work since 2006 in the "Salon des réalités nouvelles" in Paris. She has twice received the Taylor Foundation Prize in Paris.

The artist's work is distinguished by its palette of bright colors and the presence of sinuous lines that are metaphors of imaginary roads in a landscape of a nature reinterpreted by the artist who weaves like a lacemaker lines where thoughts and sensations mingle.
