Jair Marques Herculano

I am a multimedia artist, working on both canvas and digital media. I use a variety of materials, but primarily oil and acrylic on canvas and graphite pencil drawing on paper. I also use digital tools as part of my creative process, sometimes as a basis for a painting or to produce a work of art in itself.

I am passionate about my work and the opportunity that art gives me to be free and express my creativity. I have been studying and painting since childhood. The great European masters have always been a source of inspiration and have guided me in learning my techniques, especially by visiting the greatest museums in Europe and doing my own studies. I am primarily self-taught. My subjects change depending on my inspiration, my state of mind, and my interpretation of the subject. Because I believe that every painter must be unique and must have their own identity, creating art with meaning that can speak to the viewer.

My works are part of several private collections around the world: France, United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Australia, Brazil...
