Biography

Illustrator, painter, draftman, sculptor, designer, upholsterer, embroiderer, Moolinex is a protean artist. Born in 1966 in Nogent-sur-Marne.

Moolinex combines cultures by mixing references: rock'n roll, Italian erotic comic strips from the 60s. His paintings have a transgressive and underground tone. With a strong dose of humor and a touch of subtlety, he diverts all the elements of our society. He reflects our visual culture through all sorts of media: comic strips, collages, canvas... with a provocating tone, Moolinex baffles and modifies.

"My painting is entretaining for me, it makes things a little easier" says Moolinex.

His work is exhibited in Parisian galleries and in several museums such as at the Museum of Modest Arts of the city of Sète, and in bookstores.
