Marie-Fa Lazzari

Marie-Fa Lazzari has a double diploma, a masters in Modern languages and photography from centre Jean Verdier, this former professor now combines her two passions. The European photography Charles Ciccione award, recognized Marie-Fa Lazzari's work in 2015.

The photographer uses the silver film method to combine writing and photography and build visual poems. Apollinaire shapes visual poems, in the light of letters, Marie-Fa Lazzari however composes visual poetry in the light of reality. Transforming reality encourages her to create her own artist books. Her photos are staged in several theaters and Parisian galleries. Staging is a familiar ground for her, enigma is her home, she pays tribute to the masters of this sector, like Hitchcock and his Birds.

Her art combines dissimilar, insufficient elements with a new deep sensation, likes the one used by Dadaism: make up something new from a fertile ground of absurdity. The artist confesses " this is unique and ephemeral magic of the moment", according to her words, this is created by "underlining the essential: and managing to amaze and surprise".

Reality is transposed through dreams...Marie Fa Lazzari takes over the world in a poetic manner and leaves time for thoughtful seizure, her utopian dormer gives a new, indifferent and surprised look, the one of a child, that is the essence of poetic/photographic power.

Her photos are revealed in exhibition catalogs, magazines and journals, such as (Les revues traversées, Partage en Terre des arts…).
