

Biography
He worked as a freelance photographer in Nuremberg before being appointed as the artistic director of Vogelsänger Studios in Bielefeld . Since 1970, he teaches photography at the Fachhochschule de Bielefeldwhere he lives.
Influenced by the work of Groupe Zero, Karl-Martin joined the "Generative Fotografie" movement that creates aesthetic works using a computer program.
In his latest "Lichtmalerei" series, the artist focuses on the effects of light and color, which can be compared to the American colorist research during the mid 20th Century.
