The nomadic subject that I propose is a figure that emphasizes the need to act at the same time at the level of identity, subjectivity and differences. These are different demands that correspond to different practices. Multiplicity appears in a sequence deployed in several layers in which even contradictions can find their place

Elsa Gárate's life trajectory has always been linked to the world of art. After several exhibitions in Malaga from a young age, she moved to Barcelona where she studied art history at the University of Barcelona, graphic design and illustration, after which she combined the creation of her artistic work with her dedication to the work of advertising art director and creative director in fashion agencies.
In 2010 she set up her studio in Malaga where she now focuses on her artistic creation. Her works have been exhibited in national and international galleries and her work is part of numerous private collections in Europe and the United States.
