Biography
Born in 1978, Angela Wakefield followed an artistic course before becoming a key painter on the English and international artistic scene.
The artist is particularly interested in urban landscapes that she paints on most of the time large canvases. European and American capitals, as London and New York, inspire her. Her style of painting has been described as "contemporary realist" and is often compared to Edward Hopper by the collectors and art critics.
Angela was twice on the front cover of "Art of England" and presented in ARTnews - the art magazine the most read in the world, enabling her to gain a worldwide reputation.
Many English, European and American collectors have solicited her work. Her artworks have been exhibited at the Mathison Collection (UK), at the Beaumont Trust (UK), at the Macgregor Collection (Switzerland), or even at the D Stevens Collection (UK).
