Presentation

"Kathy Le Vavasseur, story of a beginning" presents a selection of works by the French sculptor Kathy Le Vavasseur, in an introduction to her work. Between a scientific prism and an organic spontaneity, the artist assembles various materials such as glass, ceramics, fabric, plastic, thread to create an alphabet of the human being. She explores the symbolism of the purification of the Ganges or the figure of Sahdu. The fluid is always invited to question the weight of materials, and metaphorically, that of the human soul. His works are an invitation to a deeper understanding of what founds an individual, cultural strata, cells and larger elements. Kathy Le Vavasseur is defined by a constant need to construct new technical responses to her artistic intuitions. It invites a sensitive approach to the self.
