BTHX

BTHX was born in Tours on January 31, 1982.

From an early age, BTHX sketches his first drawings and seeks to develop his already undeniable artistic sense (music, drawing, painting ...).

In a rather obvious evolution, BTHX painted his first canvases around the age of 20, a period during which he also discovered photography. His first creations are primarily intended to decorate his own interior, when he realizes that these arouse a strong enthusiasm among those around him to the point of selling his creations over the various visits to his home.

The artistic turn will come in the 2000s, when he worked for an airline based in Dubai. Armed with his camera, he explores and walks the streets during his various stops around the world.

The classicism of his first photos does not entirely satisfy him, so it is only natural that BTHX seeks to flourish in a style all its own. He organizes various private exhibitions where he presents his photos.

On his return to France in 2012, he created his first works inspired by his travels, combining photography, painting and the urban graphic spirit, embellished with a few plastic art techniques that bring a distinctive sign to his works. His very urban universe gives him access to a colorful palette.

It was in 2015 that he took his first steps in the gallery and then presented in 2016, during an art exhibition, a series entitled "SPECIMEN" for which he was an immediate success. Another exhibition will follow in 2017 and 2018. Its evolving style has been a resounding success in each of them. He is currently exhibiting in France (LN Design in Tours) and plans to collaborate with other international galleries.
