Laurent Bertrais is a French artist, he was born in 1971, he lives and works in Saint-Nazaire.
A self-taught artist, he usually finds his inspiration on the street, due to his travels and wanderings. His photos talk about cities and their inhabitants through their moving and activities, but also their loneliness.
Indeed, he tries to capture their lost look and reveals the poetry in their mundane life. His many travels around the world are the reasons and influences for which he renews his work and artistic research.
He writes articles and collaborates with Bob Patterson and his Street Photography Magazine based in Cleveland, USA and recently exhibited in Italy.
