Camille Léage

Camille Léage is a self-taught photographer, holder of the "Talents 2020" award from the City of Paris and named among the "300 photographers to follow" by Fisheye Magazine. Her work is imbued with otherness and helps to compensate for the recurring invisibility of certain populations in society.

Its flagship series is called the "Bus 60" and documents the north-east of Paris (18th, 19th, 20th arrondissements), crossed by bus line 60. When not wandering around Paris, Camille Léage goes as soon as she can to Amman (Jordan) where she documents another “city within the city": the daily life of the members of the first LGBTQ + magazine in the Arab world.

Her works have been the subject of numerous exhibitions and publications: Rencontres Photographiques du 10ème, Galerie L'inattendue, Télérama and Fisheye Magazine.

Self-taught photographer and graduate in Economics and Management at Paris-Dauphine University, she also trained with Carlo Werner, head of the photography department at the Center Verdier Photo, and Didier Fontan, specialist in colorimetry applied to fine art . Her favorite medium is photography but she also uses text, drawing and cartography.
