Laurent Deguitre was born in 1955 in Bordeaux.

He followed his secondary education at Lycée Montaigne then learned the trade of dental prosthetist, which brought the good designer that he was to micro-sculpture, and painted them.

Around 1970, he moved to Paris where, during an exhibition, he met a founder who introduced him to the technique of lost wax casting. He then turned towards the realization of works in metal, most of them in bronze and creating small sculptures, jewelry, models in unique models.

He makes prototypes for design, performing arts and cinema. Add to that his collaborations with museums, collectors and the fashion world.

In its evolution, it adds to the knowledge already acquired, many very varied techniques such as collage, compression, resin, photoengraving by mixing practices and mixed materials.

He has, for example, made, to order, the busts of Steve Mac Queen, Elvis Presley and Johnny Halliday.

In addition to his unique works, he produces certain models in limited series, listed and numbered.

Laurent Deguitre works, in addition to his personal creation, to order, mastering for all works the creative process from the initial drawing to the finished sculpture and in accordance with the proposed project.
