Presentation

All life comes alive through encounters. The HELENES got to know each other in Antibes, on the benches of the Jacques AUDIBERTI high school. They share their ideas of a singular aesthetic… .. From idea to material, creation is organized.

Glass, in the first place. Their engravings can be found in magical places from Paris to Mauritius. Alain DUCASSE solicits them for his restaurants, many architects will follow… After engraving, they dive into glass sculpture and create works that they distribute in the largest galleries, art shops alongside LALIQUE and DAUM. They like glass; and wood emerges around the corner, in a large vineyard, wood of 100-year-old barrels, the HELENES insert glass into it to create an ocean in a tree.

After having engraved, sculpted glass and wood, bronze appears magical and luminous, casting gold for golden hands ...

The materials vibrate and dialogue when the HELENES speak of mythological and legendary figures emerging from the alchemy of bronze castings, rains of glass and centuries-old woods. From then on, contemporary art fairs and exhibitions began (Maison et Objet, GNAC Paris Bastille, Marseille the SIAC, Valbonne, ARTENIMES….).

You can now meet them in their WORKSHOP-GALLERY located in the heart of Antibes on the ramparts of the old town where they exhibit and sell their works to visitors from all over the world, particularly Northern Europe, Scandinavia, the Anglo countries. -Saxons, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the Gulf countries: Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait.
