Bambang Budi Raharjo

Bambang is an artist from Indonesia who uses dolls and children's toys as subject matter in his paintings. Bambang is inspired by the innocent but meaningful interaction children have while playing with their soft toys. In the hands of children, the plushies seem to come to life. Bambang wants to be like those children who delves with complete abandon into the world of imagination. He explores the forms and characters that are parodied through plushies with realist and surrealist styles. He gives life and character to the dolls to create whimsical narratives to inspire art lovers to bring back their childhood souls and rekindle their rich imagination.
