Ben Mori

Mori was born in Tokyo to a Japanese Father and an American Mother. After graduating from Keio Jr. High, he then attended school on the East Coast where he graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, majoring in Graphic Design. This animal series reflects the dark side that humans have, along with the common theme of life, and love. With the intent of wanting to share his personal experiences in nature, Mori's message of 'Diversity of Things' can turn into any shape such as his 'Snake'.

In this current series, 'Forbidden Forest' Ben expressed that his intention is to “leave the moment with the animals I met in the forest in the form of a picture". - Ben Mori This series reflects the dark side that humans have, along with the common theme of life, and love. With the intent of wanting to share his personal experiences in nature, Mori's message of 'Diversity of Things' can turn into any shape such as his 'Snake'. Light' and 'Dark' symbolize the thick background to exchange the paler colors being used in all his works. Ben creates a dense collage of sights and emotions seen and felt in the forest. The distillation of that organic aesthetic is what makes this collection alluring. After returning to Japan, Mori started his career as an artist making fine art for sale while at the same time expanding his modern fashion label, White Raven. Mori has participated in various international art fairs including Art Fair Tokyo, Art Kyoto, NYC Art Fair, and more.
