Krystyna Jaszke is a Polish artist. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Wrocaw where she studied at the Faculty of painting and sculpture in the studio of Professor Jozef Halas and Leszek Mickos as well as lithography in the studio of Professor Pawel Frackiewicz and Mezzotinto in the studio of Professor Chris Nowicki. She graduated in 2002.

At the beginning of her artistic career, Krystyna Jaszke's work resembled abstractionism but her work focuses on figurative painting today. She is also interested in graphic art, particularly in Mezzotinto, a process of engraving in intaglio; Her pieces can be divided in two main fields; images of children and fantastic images. The main subject of her work is mystery and enigma in a fairy tale world which gives place to an unique athmosphere.
