"I have been painting since the age of 14. I learned to paint by copying paintings from great masters of painting, such as MATISSE; TOULOUSE-LAUTREC; VELAZQUEZ; REMBRANDT; ETC. Over the years, I have wins several painting competitions and I have made various painting exhibitions in Spain, both collective and individual, in private galleries. I come from the world of graphic arts such as graphic design, illustration and screen printing, which are the basis of my pictorial work.

My work stems from the influence of artists like Roy Lichtenstein, R. Rauschenberg, Bansky, Sigmar, Polker, etc. The main goal of my work is to extract the sarcasm of everyday life by using symbols from comics and advertising aspects of the 1950s in the United States. From a theme that I choose at random, I combine the underlined icons with the color. My intention is not political, but above all sarcastic; the important thing for me is to be ironic, not criticism. The effect of my visual compositions is to create chaos and confusion, by combining meaningless images like for example an advertising logo with an illustration from a comic strip, causing the viewer to react with amusement. The technique I use in my paintings is initially a strong base of textures that mimic a wall, and then I paint in acrylics on canvas. "
