Will Hopgood

Self taught street artist from South Wales, Cardiff. Currently living in South London. Heavily influenced from the graffiti tagged streets, combining iconic imagery with spray paint, graphic design and photography in each composition. 

The mediums I use is wheat paste to stick the paper to the canvas, spray paints and acrylic. A lot of my ideas are influenced from the big cities, I collage the most iconic grafitti to each design to create unique pieces of art.

Each piece has its own message, hand picked from the urban culture and put into its own form of street art. 

Since I was a teenager, I had posters of famous people in my bedroom that I look up to and inspire me, I put these ideas into my work and introduced urban graffiti. I use many different techniques to highlight the growing street culture. Art already has saved me in a lot of ways and as a person I continue to grow.
